About
EasyTrace Recorder helps users document web application issues and workflow requests by recording meaningful interaction steps, checkpoint screenshots, and user notes. Users can start a recording, perform actions in the web page, pause to capture the current screen, add a description for that checkpoint, and export a structured report for implementation or support teams. Reports can be exported as Word, HTML, or PDF and include recorded actions, clicked controls, screenshots, URLs, timestamps, and a structured JSON payload. The extension is intended for internal QA, support, implementation, and business-analysis workflows. It does not intentionally collect passwords or sensitive token-like field values; those are redacted during recording.
