Stream Video Downloader finds the real video behind the page and lets you save it.

While you browse, the extension quietly detects HLS (.m3u8) playlists and direct MP4 streams on the page. When something is found, the toolbar icon shows a count — open the popup to play, convert, or download what it caught.

⚙ HOW IT WORKS
Detection runs entirely in your browser. When you choose Play or Convert, the extension hands the stream URL to the companion web app, which does the playback or MP4 conversion locally using WebAssembly — your video is never uploaded to a server.

📋 HOW TO USE
1. Open a page that plays a video
2. Start the video so the stream begins loading
3. Click the extension icon to see detected videos
4. Press Play to preview, or Download / Convert to save
