AI Writing Assistant helps you rewrite and improve text directly inside editable fields on websites.

Click inside a supported text field, text area, or content editor, and the AI toolbar appears near the field. Choose an action such as Improve, Shorter, Longer, Formal, Casual, or Fix Grammar. The extension sends the selected field text to the writing API, receives the rewritten version, and replaces the text in the active field.

You can also use a custom prompt when you want a specific rewrite style or instruction.

How to Use:

1. Open a website with a supported editable text field.
2. Click inside the field and type your text.
3. The AI Writing Assistant toolbar will appear near the field.
4. Choose Improve, Shorter, Longer, Formal, Casual, or Fix Grammar.
5. For a custom rewrite, enter your instruction in the custom prompt box.
6. Review the rewritten text after it is placed back into the field.


Privacy Disclosure:

AI Writing Assistant sends the text you choose to rewrite to the configured writing API so the rewrite can be generated. The extension only sends text when you click a rewrite action or submit a custom prompt.

Based on the current extension files, the extension does not use analytics scripts, does not track browsing history, and does not send unrelated page content to the developer’s server.

Users should review rewritten text before submitting forms, sending messages, posting content, or saving changes on any website.
