HOW IT WORKS

When you click a button, the extension constructs the appropriate search operator URL (e.g. site:example.com -inurl:www) and opens it in a new Google or Internet Archive tab. That's it. The extension does not scrape, crawl, or analyze page content. It only reads the active tab's URL and title to build the query.

PRIVACY

SEO Investigator requests a single permission: activeTab. This lets the extension read the URL and title of your current tab only at the moment you click the icon. Nothing is collected, stored, transmitted, or tracked. No analytics, no telemetry, no third-party services, no background scripts.
