Purity Shield helps create a cleaner, more focused browsing environment by blocking explicit websites, adult search terms, and user-defined rules before they become a distraction. It includes curated default categories, custom keyword and website blocking, an allow list for trusted sites, local analytics, and password-protected settings.

The extension is designed to be simple enough for daily use while still giving users meaningful control. You can turn protection on or off, enable safe search support, add extra blocked keywords or websites, allow trusted domains, and review local analytics such as weekly block counts, top matched rules, category breakdowns, and quiet streaks.

Purity Shield stores settings locally in Chrome extension storage. It does not use remote code and does not send browsing activity to an external server.
