Finding prize tournaments on Lichess is harder than it should be. They are scattered across hundreds of teams and pages, and by the time you hear about one, it has already started. LichessRadar solves this with a simple, fast, and reliable tool built specifically for Lichess players.

LichessRadar is a lightweight Chrome extension with one clear purpose: help you save Lichess tournaments and never miss the ones that matter.

Whether you play for fun or compete for prizes, LichessRadar keeps your tournament schedule organized, sends you reminders before each event starts, and puts everything in one clean popup — no accounts, no servers, no setup required.

CORE FEATURES

ONE-CLICK SAVE
Browse Lichess as you normally would. When you find a tournament you want to play, click the "Save to Radar" button that appears at the bottom right of every Arena and Swiss tournament page. The tournament is saved instantly with its title, type, start time, and direct link.

PASTE A LINK
Already have a tournament link? Paste it directly into the extension popup and click Add. LichessRadar fetches the tournament details automatically from the official Lichess API and saves everything for you.

SMART NOTIFICATIONS
Never miss a start time again. LichessRadar sends you a desktop notification before each tournament begins. Choose when to be notified: 30 minutes, 1 hour, 6 hours, 12 hours, or 24 hours before the start. Enable multiple alerts at once for the most important events. Notifications stay visible until you dismiss them — they will not disappear while you are away.

STANDBY RECOVERY
If your computer was asleep when a notification was scheduled, LichessRadar detects this when Chrome restarts and sends you a catch-up alert so you still know what you missed.

PRIZE TOURNAMENT FILTER
Mark any saved tournament as a prize event with a single checkbox. Filter your list to show only prize tournaments at a glance. Perfect for players who focus on freeroll and cash events.

FAVORITES
Star your most important tournaments to keep them at the top of your list. A dedicated Favorites filter and sort option lets you focus on what matters most. The extension badge turns gold when you have upcoming favorites.

PERSONAL NOTES
Add a short private note to any tournament — prize amount, time control, entry requirements, or anything else you want to remember. Notes appear directly on the tournament card.

ORGANIZED LIST WITH SORTING AND FILTERING
Your saved tournaments are displayed in a clean, readable list with live status badges:
- Live — tournament is currently running
- Starting soon — begins within 30 minutes
- Upcoming — scheduled for the future
- Already started — saved after the start time
- Ended — tournament has finished

Sort your list by: soonest start, favorites first, prize first, or recently saved.
Filter by: All, Prize only, or Favorites only.

REAL-TIME POPUP SYNC
The popup updates instantly when you save a tournament from a Lichess page. No need to close and reopen — your list is always current.

AUTO-HIDE FINISHED TOURNAMENTS
Enable the auto-hide setting to automatically remove tournaments that ended more than 4 hours ago, keeping your list clean and relevant.

PRIVACY AND DATA

LichessRadar stores all your data locally on your device using Chrome's built-in storage. Nothing is sent to any external server. The only external request the extension makes is to the official public Lichess API (lichess.org) when you add a tournament by link — to fetch its title and start time. No personal information is ever collected or transmitted.
