  CaptionPiP is a caption-aware Picture-in-Picture player for people who want to keep subtitles visible while watching in a floating window.
  
  Most browser Picture-in-Picture windows only show the video and leave captions behind in the original tab. CaptionPiP creates a custom floating player that mirrors captions from the source video page, so subtitles can stay readable while you watch videos, movies, lectures, tutorials, streams, and long-form content.
  
  It is tuned for YouTube and Prime Video, and includes optional caption detection tools for other video sites. You can turn captions on or off per site, adjust caption styling, resize the PiP window, control playback, manage volume, and return to the source tab when needed.
  
  CaptionPiP stores your preferences locally in Chrome extension storage. It does not require an account, does not use remote code, and does not sell or transfer user data.
