JMeter Script Recorder is a Chrome extension for QA engineers, performance testers, and developers who need to convert browser traffic into Apache JMeter test plans.

The extension records browser network activity during a user-initiated recording session and generates performance-test-ready JMeter (.jmx) scripts. It helps reduce the manual effort required to recreate browser flows in JMeter by capturing requests, headers, query parameters, request bodies, response status codes, timings, redirects, cookies, and transaction groupings.

The extension is intended for authorized testing of applications you own, manage, or have permission to test. Recorded sessions may contain sensitive request data such as cookies, tokens, headers, request bodies, or response samples, depending on the application being tested. All processing is performed locally in the browser.
