About

Cipherium Scan Uploader integrates directly with the Star Wars Combine scanner interface to silently capture and submit scan data to your Cipherium installation.

How it works
Every time you open or refresh the SWC scanner page, the extension fetches the scanner XML in the background and submits it to Cipherium automatically. When you perform a focused (cockpit) scan on a specific entity, that detailed scan is captured and submitted as well. A brief notification confirms each upload — no buttons to click, nothing to configure per session.

Smart rate limiting
The extension tracks a content hash for each scan location and entity. If nothing has changed since the last submission, the upload is skipped. Scans are never sent more than once every 15 minutes for the same location or entity, preventing unnecessary traffic while still keeping your Cipherium data current.

Setup

Install the extension
Click the extension icon and enter your Cipherium server URL (e.g. http://localhost or https://yourserver.com)
Log into Star Wars Combine and start scanning — everything else is automatic
Requirements

An active Star Wars Combine account
A running Cipherium instance configured with the matching extension token
This extension is intended for use by Cipherium server operators and their members. It does not collect or transmit any data other than scanner XML to the Cipherium server you configure.
