Browser Guard keeps Chrome calmer when your tab strip gets crowded.

It combines the browser tools I kept installing separate extensions for: duplicate tab cleanup, tab organization, clean search, full-page capture, local screen recording, dark mode, media saving, audio boost, and focus blocking.

Main features:

• Prevent duplicate tabs and focus the existing tab when possible.
• Keep single-page app routes distinct, including AWS console pages.
• Sort, group, and merge browser tabs across windows.
• Replace the new-tab page with a clean workspace and tab list.
• Capture full-page scrolling screenshots as PNG files.
• Record a selected screen, window, or tab as a local video file.
• Force dark mode on websites with brightness, contrast, sepia, and excluded-site controls.
• Save direct video/audio files from supported pages.
• Show an in-page video download overlay with X/Twitter quality options when available.
• Boost active-tab volume up to 600% and add bass boost.
• Block distracting sites during work hours, after daily limits, or with a timed Nuclear Option.
• Resume blocked tabs automatically when the timer or schedule ends.

Browser Guard is local-first. It does not run a backend service, does not sell data, and does not upload your screenshots, recordings, tabs, or browsing activity.
