    description
Measure how much of Googlebot's 2 MB per-HTML limit your pages use. Google counts uncompressed response bytes (headers plus decompressed body), not what you see as "transfer size" in the Network tab when gzip or Brotli is enabled.

This extension from Semetrical surfaces those numbers so you can spot pages where large inline payloads, base64 assets, or bloated markup push important content past the crawl cutoff.

The toolbar icon reflects OK / warn / over status for the active tab, and the popup summarises the latest measurement.

Open Chrome DevTools and use the Googlebot Size panel to see the header bytes, uncompressed body bytes, remaining budget, and transferred size for comparison. A history list captures HTML document requests in the current DevTools session.

Due to the low probability of encountering a size error, and the severity of the issue, an audio alert is triggered when a page exceeds the limit. This can be disabled in the extension settings if requried.

The extension analyses requests in your browser only; it does not send page content or measurements to external servers.
