Geef keeps a personal GIF library in Chrome's side panel and lets you paste a selected GIF into a compatible editable field.

Build your library from existing GIF files or convert local MP4 and WebM clips to animated GIFs directly in the browser. Search your collection, organize it into groups, mark favorites, preview and rename items, and keep recently used reactions close at hand.

Back up one group or the complete library as a ZIP file. Restore selected groups and favorites when needed, review storage use by group, or remove local library data from the extension.

Geef uses Chrome's normal local storage quota by default. The Data settings show current capacity and provide controls for reviewing and removing local library data when space runs low.

Site access is optional and user controlled. Geef asks for access to the current website only after you select Grant access. It uses that access only to place the GIF you explicitly select into an editable field. It does not read existing messages, input text, credentials, cookies, or page content.

GIF storage, video conversion, search, thumbnails, and backups are processed locally. Geef has no account, analytics, ads, developer-operated backend, or remotely hosted code.
