NOTE FOR macOS USERS
Chrome can capture audio from a Chrome tab on macOS. When recording the entire screen or another app's window, your microphone is recorded (system-audio loopback is a Chrome/macOS platform limitation that applies to every extension).

Grant Chrome the Screen Recording permission in System Settings → Privacy & Security the first time you record.
