PRIVACY & OFFLINE — BY DESIGN • 100% on-device: capture, OCR, and copy happen in your browser. • No accounts, no analytics, no ads, no cloud OCR. • Your video frames and recognized text are never sent to our servers (we do not run any). • Works offline after install — only the video page needs to load. HOW IT WORKS 1. Click the extension icon and turn on selection mode. 2. Drag a rectangle over the video with the left mouse button. 3. Text is recognized locally with Tesseract — nothing leaves your device. 4. Copy the result or click Retry for a deeper pass on difficult fonts.
