About

DMCA Harvester is a productivity tool for content creators, photographers, artists, musicians, and rights holders who need to send DMCA takedown notices for infringing copies of their own original work.

It does two things:

1. HARVESTING (free, unlimited)
   Click the extension on any page where you've found piracy of your content. It collects the relevant URLs from the open tab, an entire window, or a right-click drag selection. Links accumulate in a session as you browse. Harvest from one tab, ten tabs, or hundreds — there are no limits.

2. DMCA EMAIL COMPOSITION (3 free trial sends, then subscription)
   When you're ready, click "SEND DMCA". The extension groups your collected URLs by hosting provider, looks up the correct abuse contact for each provider, and composes a properly formatted DMCA takedown notice for each one. Your name, organization, address, and IP role are filled in automatically from your saved profile. Drafts open in your default email client (Outlook, Thunderbird, Apple Mail, Gmail) for you to review and send manually. The extension itself never sends email on your behalf.

WHY THIS EXISTS

Sending a single DMCA takedown by hand takes 10–15 minutes: finding the abuse contact for the host, looking up the standard notice template, filling in your details, copy-pasting URLs. Multiply that by 30 infringing copies of one photo set across a dozen forums and the manual workflow becomes the bottleneck. DMCA Harvester turns 30 minutes of repetitive work into roughly 5.

HOW IT WORKS (3 STEPS)

1. HARVEST — Browse to any page with infringing copies of your work. Click the extension and pick CURRENT TAB, ALL TABS, or right-click drag-select.
2. REVIEW — The extension groups links by host. Remove false positives, import URLs from the clipboard, and add your own.

PRIVACY & DATA

The extension is built with privacy as a first principle:

— Your DMCA contact details (name, address, IP role) are stored ONLY in your browser's local storage. They never leave your machine until you click SEND EMAILS, at which point they're included in the email body for the host's abuse contact.
— Harvested URLs are sent to our server only when you click SEND EMAILS, and only so the server can compose the grouped email drafts. They are not retained.
— No analytics. No telemetry. No behavioural tracking. No third-party advertising integrations.
— Your login session and device identifier are the only authentication data we store on the server, and only to verify your subscription status and enforce the device limit.
