Technical Capabilities
Dynamic URL Parsing: The core of OpsDesk is its intelligent URL generator. It supports custom date/time tokens (YYYY, MM, DD, HH), synoptic model snap-to-intervals, and forecast valid time offsets (e.g., {VALID:D1_12Z}). This allows users to target iterative forecast models, air quality snapshots, and daily telemetry reports that update in real-time.

GIS Layer Stacking: The "GIS Sandwich" feature enables multi-layer image composition. Users can stack an opaque basemap, a transparent data layer, and a top-level reference label set. The system handles the alignment and blending of these layers to create a cohesive data visualization.

Grid Layout Management: Tiles can be dragged, dropped, resized, and panned. The grid automatically manages layout collisions, making it easy to create complex "walls" of information without manual configuration.

Data Source Support: While originally engineered for synoptic weather modeling, OpsDesk is platform-agnostic. It works with any image-based data source, making it suitable for monitoring traffic cameras, server dashboard status pages, production metrics, or any live URL feed.
