see and modify files it created itself. It cannot read your existing Drive 
files or folders.

Click the "Export to Docs" button directly in the chat, or use the extension popup to export from anywhere.

Native math equations
LaTeX equations are converted into real, editable Google Docs equations — not images or broken text. Fractions, integrals, matrices, summations, and Greek letters all render correctly.

Rich formatting preserved
Headings, bold, italic, ordered and unordered lists, tables, code blocks, and blockquotes are all maintained.

Image embedding
Images generated or shared in AI responses can be embedded directly into the exported document. Permission is requested only when you actually export an image — never on install.

Export what you want
Choose between the most recent response, selected messages, or the entire conversation. A side panel lets you check exactly which responses to include.

Append to an existing Doc
Keep a running log of a conversation over multiple exports. The extension remembers which Google Doc you associated with each conversation and offers a one-click "add to this doc" option.

Organize in Drive
Pick any folder in your Google Drive as the export destination. The extension auto-creates an "AI Chat Exports" folder by default, but you can switch it anytime.

CSV export for tables
Any table inside an AI response can be downloaded as CSV with one click, ready to open in Excel, Numbers, or Google Sheets.

Keyboard shortcut
Press Ctrl+Shift+E (or Cmd+Shift+E on Mac) to trigger the default export action without touching the mouse.

Conversation titles as filenames
Exported documents are automatically named after the conversation title, so your Drive stays organized without any manual renaming.

Dark mode support
The export panel matches the theme of the platform you're using.

HOW TO USE

1. Install the extension and pin it to your toolbar.
2. Open ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini.
3. Click "Export to Docs" on any AI response, or click the extension icon to choose from the popup.
4. On first use, sign in with Google so the extension can create documents in your Drive.
5. The new Google Doc opens automatically in a new tab.

For faster workflow, use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl+Shift+E (Cmd+Shift+E on Mac).

PERMISSIONS & PRIVACY

We ask only for what the extension actually needs.

Required permissions:
- identity — to sign you into Google when you first export. Standard Chrome OAuth flow.
- storage — to remember your preferences (default folder, last export per conversation, default mode).
- Access to chatgpt.com, claude.ai, gemini.google.com — to read the AI response you choose to export.
- Access to googleapis.com and docs.googleapis.com — to create and update documents in your Drive.

Optional permission (requested only on demand):
- Access to other websites (<all_urls>) — requested at runtime, only when you export a response that contains images. This is needed because AI platforms serve images from a variety of CDN domains (for example, OpenAI's oaiusercontent.com, Google's googleusercontent.com) and those domains change over time. The permission is requested once per CDN origin via Chrome's native permission dialog. If you decline, the export continues normally — images are replaced with a "[Image]" text placeholder. This permission is never requested on install.

Your data stays yours.
- The extension does not run analytics, telemetry, or tracking.
- No data is sent to any third party. Content from your AI conversations is processed entirely in your browser and uploaded only to your own Google Drive.
- The extension cannot access any website you don't explicitly export from.
- You can revoke Google access anytime at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions.
