PERMISSIONS, EXPLAINED PLAINLY

• "Read your data on all websites": needed only at the moment you click Generate PDF. The extension does not run in the background and does not read pages you do not actively capture.
• "Manage your downloads": needed to save the finished PDF to your Downloads folder.
• "activeTab" / "scripting": needed to inject the scroll-and-capture script into the page you are on.
• "offscreen": Chrome's Manifest V3 requires this to assemble the PDF in a hidden background document.

KNOWN LIMITS

• Some sites use lazy-loaded images that only render when scrolled into view. The extension scrolls the full page first, but on very heavy sites a few images might still arrive late.
• Browser internal pages (chrome://, edge://, brave://) cannot be captured — Chrome blocks all extensions from reading those by design.
• Sites with strict Content Security Policy that block image data URLs may not capture; this is rare.
