    WHAT IS PHOBIABLOCKER?
The extention is an AI-powered safety fear-triggering blocker for your browser. It automatically detects and blurs images and videos that match your specific phobias by analyzing the text surrounding them.

Browse the web without fear of jumpscares or triggers. No matter what it is PhobiaBlocker hides them before you have to see them.

    HOW IT WORKS
Unlike basic keyword filters, PhobiaBlocker uses advanced Natural Language Processing (NLP). It doesn't just look for exact matches; it understands context and word variations (like "mice" vs "mouse"). If the text around an image or video suggests it contains your trigger, the extension blurs it instantly.

    KEY FEATURES
Blurs images, videos, and iframes across the entire web.
Uses NLP to understand plural forms, inflictions, etc and related terms automatically.
Works on dynamic sites like Instagram, Reddit, and Facebook as you scroll.
Need to see something? Simply right-click any blurred item to reveal it.

    GETTING STARTED

    Install PhobiaBlocker.

Click the extension icon and add your trigger words.

    Browse the web.
Protect yourself from unexpected phobia triggers while browsing. PhobiaBlocker automatically blurs images, videos, and embedded content when the surrounding text suggests they may contain something you want to avoid.

    WHAT IS PHOBIABLOCKER?
PhobiaBlocker is a browser safety extension that helps you browse with more control. Add the words or topics you want to avoid, and PhobiaBlocker analyzes the text around images and videos to decide what should stay blurred.

Instead of waiting for you to report or manually hide content, PhobiaBlocker uses a blur-first, unveil-after approach: potentially unsafe media is blurred immediately, and content is only revealed after analysis suggests it is likely safe. If something goes wrong, it stays blurred.

    HOW IT WORKS
Unlike basic keyword filters, PhobiaBlocker uses Natural Language Processing (NLP) with compromise.js to understand context and word variations. It can recognize plurals, verb forms, and irregular terms like "mouse" and "mice" while scanning the text around images, videos, and iframes.

PhobiaBlocker also keeps up with modern websites. Dynamic content on feeds, infinite-scroll pages, and single-page apps is analyzed as it appears, so protection continues while you browse.

    KEY FEATURES
    - Automatically blurs images, videos, and iframes before they are shown
    - Uses NLP to detect related word forms and context around media
    - Works on dynamic sites as new content loads
    - Site whitelist and blacklist rules for trusted or strict domains
    - Hover preview to partially reveal blurred content before deciding
    - Right-click any blurred item to permanently unblur it
    - Keyboard shortcuts: Ctrl+B to blur all, Ctrl+U to unblur all
    - Adjustable blur intensity to match your comfort level
    - Fail-safe protection: if analysis errors occur, content stays blurred

    2. Click the extension icon and add your trigger words
    3. Adjust blur strength and site rules if needed
    4. Browse normally — media is blurred first and only revealed when it appears safe
