Stop agreeing to Terms of Service you've never read. TermAlert automatically intercepts "I Agree", "Accept All", "Create Account", and other consent buttons. Before your click goes through, it fetches the Terms of Service, analyzes it with AI, and shows you a plain-English summary — right on the page. ────────────────────────────── HOW IT WORKS ────────────────────────────── 1. You click "Accept", "Sign Up", or a similar button. 2. TermAlert pauses the click and shows an overlay card. 3. The Terms of Service is fetched and analyzed by AI in seconds. 4. You see a traffic-light rating (green / yellow / red), a summary, and specific flags. 5. Click "Proceed Anyway" to continue — or "Cancel" to back out. ────────────────────────────── FEATURES ────────────────────────────── • AI-powered analysis — plain English verdict, not legalese • Traffic-light ratings: green (looks fine), yellow (review recommended), red (caution) • Specific red flags highlighted — e.g. forced arbitration, auto-renewal, data selling • Catches cookie consent banners, sign-up forms, and custom consent dialogs • Works inside shadow DOM and consent manager iframes (Cookiebot, Sourcepoint, Usercentrics) • Change detection — notifies you when a site you've agreed to updates their terms • Agreement history — browse and remove saved agreements from the popup • No account required, no sign-up, no data collected about you ────────────────────────────── PRIVACY ────────────────────────────── TermAlert is privacy-first: • Your personal data and browsing history are never accessed or transmitted. • Only the text of the ToS document (not the page you're on) is sent for analysis. • Analysis results and agreement records are stored locally in your browser only. • The proxy server processes requests in real time and does not store ToS text. Full privacy policy: https://termalert.pages.dev/privacy.html ────────────────────────────── PERMISSIONS EXPLAINED ────────────────────────────── • Access to all sites — needed to detect buttons and fetch ToS pages on any website • Storage — saves your agreement history locally in Chrome • Alarms — schedules weekly checks for ToS changes • Notifications — alerts you when a saved ToS has changed
