ReadLater gives your browser a memory. It automatically indexes pages you read and lets you search them later — by keywords, phrases, or site — like searching your own browsing history, but across full page content, not just titles and URLs.

Everything stays on your device. Your browsing content is stored locally in your browser and is not uploaded to our servers.

HOW IT WORKS

1. Install ReadLater
2. Open the extension and accept the onboarding prompt
3. Browse as usual — ReadLater quietly indexes page text in the background
4. Search anytime from the popup, side panel, address bar (type "rl" + keyword), or keyboard shortcut (Ctrl/Shift+L on Windows, ⌘/Shift+L on Mac)

Nothing is recorded until you accept the first-run onboarding. You stay in control at every step.
