  Most translation tools translate words in isolation. That works for French or Spanish - but in German, a verb's meaning often depends on a prefix sitting at the end of the sentence. "Fängt" means nothing on its own; "anfangen" means "to begin." Generic translators show you "catches" and leave you confused.
