About

Tempo tracks how long you spend on each website and shows you the honest picture — today, this week, this month, or all time.
Most time trackers either lock your history behind a paywall, can't exclude the sites you don't want counted, or quietly upload your browsing. Tempo doesn't.

WHAT MAKES IT DIFFERENT

- Your full history, free — not just the last 3 days
- Exclude any site in one click — it's never tracked, and its data is removed
- A real dashboard — daily trend chart plus a clean per-site breakdown
- Set daily or weekly time limits and get notified when you go over
- Group sites into categories and see where your time really goes
- Backup and restore that never wipes what you already have
- Truly local — no account, no sync, no servers. Tempo never reads page content.

HOW IT WORKS

Tempo counts time only while a browser window is focused and you're actively using it — including while watching videos or listening to audio. Everything is stored on your own machine. Open the dashboard anytime to see where your attention actually went.

YOUR DATA IS YOURS

Export a backup anytime. Import it back without overwriting anything. Uninstalling removes everything. Nothing is ever sent anywhere.

PERMISSIONS

Tempo uses only what it needs: tab info to know which site you're on, idle detection to pause when you step away, local storage to save your data, and notifications to alert you when you hit a limit. It never reads page content.
