About

Squirl turns any web page or YouTube video into a clean, saved file in one click.

WHAT IT DOES
• Clip the page you're viewing to your Google Drive, or download it locally.
• Choose the output format: Markdown, plain Text, or PDF (with embedded CJK fonts).
• For YouTube, grab the subtitles/transcript and fold them right into the file — pick the language from a menu (no typing language codes).
• Optionally sync clips into your own self‑hosted "AI Desktop" knowledge base.

HOW IT WORKS
• Right‑click anywhere and choose "Clip to Drive", or open the toolbar popup.
• Squirl reads only the page you choose to clip — nothing runs in the background.
• Files land in the Drive folder you pick, named after the page title.

PRIVACY
• Your clips go to YOUR Google Drive and/or YOUR computer. Squirl has no server of its own.
• Settings are stored locally in your browser. No analytics, no tracking, no selling data.
