Tyrone New Tab replaces the default new tab page with a clean interface designed for both focus and fun.

•	Search powered by Chrome Search API (uses your current browser search settings)

Default state (first install)
To keep the first-run experience lightweight, optional widgets/tools are disabled by default:
•	Weather: off
•	Clock: off
•	Notes: off
•	Crypto ticker: off
•	Tools sidebar: default closed 
Users can enable these anytime from Settings.
Permissions
We request only the permissions needed for core features:
•	storage — save settings, layout, and local preferences
•	bookmarks — display and manage bookmarks from the UI
•	topSites — show most visited sites
•	geolocation (optional) — weather feature only
•	search — submit queries via Chrome Search API
Privacy
•	No tracking
•	No selling of personal data
•	No remote code execution
Optional Network Features (User Controlled)
You can enable optional host access for:
•	Live game catalog updates
•	Weather services (OpenWeather / Open-Meteo)
•	Crypto/data widgets
Without optional host access, core features still work (layout, shortcuts, top sites, bookmarks, search, offline content).
Data Handling
•	Data is stored in Chrome extension storage (chrome.storage)
•	No account required
•	No personal profile collection by the extension
