About
🔎 Apollolytics is a browser extension that helps you to identify propaganda techniques in online content and provides context for any claims you encounter. *** ⚡ Simply right-click anywhere on the webpage, select 'Detect Propaganda', and within seconds, the text will be analysed and highlighted with possible propaganda techniques. 👉 Alternatively, click and drag over a section of text, right-click, and select either 'Detect Propaganda on Selection' or '... with Contextualizer' to analyse the chosen text. The Contextualizer provides additional context for claims, including links to reliable sources. *** Once installed, clicking the Apollolytics logo opens the main extension panel. Here you can: ⚙️ - Change settings, such as which model is used. 📊 - View Propaganda Analytics, including the most common techniques yo encounter and a breakdown by website. 🗂️ - Access the Detection History, which saves all results generated using the tool. 🔒 - Export or delete all of your data—Apollolytics is committed to data privacy and transparency. 📖 - See detailed descriptions of all the propaganda techniques Apollolytics detects. *** 🇨🇭 Apollolytics is developed by researchers of the University of Zurich and the University of Lausanne. We are committed to ensuring that no identifiable user data is stored on our servers. *** Disclaimer Apollolytics may occasionally flag content as propaganda in error. All detections and explanations are automatically generated and do not reflect the views of the authors or associated universities.
