Image Format Converter by Berta turns your pictures into PNG, JPEG, WebP, or AVIF — entirely on your computer. Pick a file from the toolbar popup or open the full window for batch conversion. No upload, no account, no cloud.

What you get
- Toolbar popup: drag an image or browse, choose output format and quality, save with the system “Save as” dialog
- Full window: queue multiple images and download converted files into your Downloads folder in one go
- Remembers your last format and quality via chrome.storage.local (optional)
- Dark / light appearance follows your system theme
- Marketing site and privacy details: ifc.berta.one

What you do not get
- No analytics, telemetry, or ads
- No third-party SDKs
- No reading or changing websites you visit (no host permissions)

Permissions
- "storage" — save your preferred output format and quality between sessions
- "downloads" — deliver converted files when you save or batch download

The extension does not declare host permissions and cannot access web page content.

Privacy
Your images are processed with the browser Canvas API and are never sent to us. The extension issues no HTTP requests for conversion. See your privacy policy URL for the full statement.
