Old 2025 icons for Google™ Workspace

Google replaced the classic Workspace icons with gradient versions in May 2026. This extension brings the familiar pre-2026 icons back everywhere they appear on Google's web pages, so you can tell your tabs and apps apart at a glance again.

What it restores:
• Browser tab favicons for Gmail, Calendar and other Workspace apps
• The 9-dot apps launcher (the grid menu next to your profile picture)

How it works:
• All classic icons are bundled inside the extension and served locally
• Static redirect rules swap Google's favicon requests for the bundled icons
• A lightweight script restores launcher and inline icons as the page renders

Privacy:
• No data is collected, stored or transmitted
• No network requests to any third party
• Runs only on google.com pages and only changes icon images

Notes:
• Apps that already used gradient icons before 2026 (Maps, Photos, Gemini) are left unchanged
• If a Google tab was open before installation, reload it once
