For security, browsers cannot run a proxy engine on their own. Hovpn uses a small free helper app on your computer to do the actual connection. After installing this extension, download and run the Hovpn helper once from https://hovpn.vip — it takes a minute and needs no technical setup. Without the helper, the extension cannot connect.

Hovpn is proxy-switching software that you control. It does not provide servers — you bring your own config link or subscription.
