Hekasoft Insta Downloader adds a small, unobtrusive download button on Instagram pages so you can save the media you want, in their original quality, organized in a clean folder structure on your computer. No account creation, no subscription, no upload to remote servers, no tracking, no analytics. Everything happens on your device.

▸ WHAT YOU CAN DOWNLOAD

• Single posts (photos, videos, reels) from /p/ and /reel/ pages
• Carousels — choose between downloading just the slide currently visible, or the whole carousel at once
• Active stories of any profile
• Highlights, downloaded as a single bundle preserving the highlight title
• Entire profiles in one go, with filters: photos only, videos only, by date, since the last download

▸ SUBSCRIPTIONS — KEEP PROFILES UP TO DATE

Track a list of profiles and update them on demand:

• Add a profile to the subscriptions list (manually or with one click on the current Instagram tab)
• Update single subscriptions, or run a batch with the "Start all" button
• The batch download adds a 3-5 minute random pause between profiles to reduce the risk of Instagram rate-limiting your account
• Incremental downloads: only new posts since the last update are downloaded each time

▸ PRIVACY-FIRST BY DESIGN

This is a tool that respects you:

• Zero analytics, zero telemetry. We don't know if you're using the extension, when, or how
• Zero remote servers. The extension talks only to Instagram itself, never to Hekasoft or any third party
• Zero account required. Install and use, no signup
• All preferences and subscriptions live in chrome.storage.local — they never leave your device
• Open about what permissions are used and why (full details in the privacy policy)
