ClipContext is a clipboard manager that automatically saves text the moment you copy it — along with the source URL, page title, and surrounding context (150 characters before and after). Never again wonder where you read something.

① Context-Aware Auto-Save
Just select text and press Ctrl+C — your clip is saved instantly, no extra steps required. Along with the copied text, ClipContext records the surrounding context, page title, URL, and timestamp. While researching, you'll always know exactly why you saved a particular quote.
② Search Across All Tabs
Type a keyword and ClipContext instantly searches the content of every open tab in Chrome. Click any result to jump directly to that tab — the matching text will be highlighted in yellow right on the page.
③ PDF Support
Text copied from PDF documents open in a tab is automatically captured as well. PDF tabs are included in cross-tab search results.
④ Flexible Copy Formats
Re-copy any saved clip in one of three formats: text only, text + URL, or full format (including context, source, and timestamp). Choose whichever suits your needs.
⑤ Privacy & Security
Clip data can be encrypted using AES-GCM. Local storage mode disables Google account sync and keeps your data on-device only. You can also set clips to auto-delete after 7 days, 30 days, or never.
⑥ Cross-Device Sync
By default, clips are stored in Chrome Sync storage and automatically synced across all devices signed into the same Google account.
⑦ Multilingual Support
