    description
Brightspot Toolkit is the browser companion for Brightspot CMS editors and developers. It bridges the gap between your live website and the CMS, eliminating friction from your daily workflow.

    Main Tab:
When you're browsing a Brightspot-powered page, the extension automatically detects the content and gives you a direct Edit in CMS button. One click takes you straight to the content editor- no more hunting through the CMS to find the right page. You can set up hostname mappings to connect any frontend domain to its corresponding CMS.

The content quality analysis tools let you run instant audits without leaving the page. Check your SEO fundamentals like title tags, meta descriptions, and heading structure. Scan for accessibility issues including missing alt text and form labels. Review image optimization covering lazy loading and file sizes. Verify structured data markup like Schema.org, FAQ content, and breadcrumbs.

You can also save quick links to pages you visit frequently, giving you fast access to your CMS dashboard, documentation, or any other URL.

    Developer Tab:
The performance section tracks Core Web Vitals as you browse. You'll see TTFB (server response time), LCP (when main content becomes visible), and CLS (visual stability). Sparkline charts show trends across pages so you can spot regressions before they impact users.

Activity tracking logs your recent actions like edits, JSON views, and styleguide checks, making it easy to pick up where you left off.

The page scripts section shows all JavaScript loaded on the page, grouped by domain. This is useful for auditing third-party scripts and identifying what's running on your site.

Dev tools give you quick access to JSON views, styleguide output, raw content data, and QR code generation—all one click away.

Page Insights: Allows users to view standardized performance metrics and Core Web Vitals without leaving the page or switching tools.

Support Feature: Includes quick-access tools that generate standardized technical artifacts directly from the browser.

Install Brightspot Toolkit and spend less time clicking through the CMS, more time
    creating great content.
