This chrome extension/app lets you check PNR status of Indian Railways and IRCTC tickets easily. It is kind of a bookmark for famous website Trainspnrstatus. It also let you locate your train's live location with its train running status check facility.
Lets discuss its feature point wise:
1) PNR Status:
The main functionality of this app is to check PNR status. Indian rail travelers are aware of the fact that getting confirmed ticket in trains is very difficult. Many time they receive wait listed tickets from booking counter and IRCTC website and hence they are always in need to check updated live reservation status of their ticket. To check pnr status, you would have to provide you 10 digit PNR number.
2) Train Schedule:
Many times situations occur when a rail traveler has to find the exact time table of a train. This extension will come handy for such situation. Hit the 't' icon in chrome and when website is loaded, simply click 'train schedule' link. Provide five digit train number to check train schedule.
3) Live Train Status:
Locating your train is very easy with this extension. Click app icon 't'. Go to 'train running status' link. Enter five digit train number and hit 'Get Train Running Status' button. After successful submission, a new page will appear that would ask you to enter your journey station and journey date. Provide those details correctly and submit. A new window will appear with live train status.
4) Trains Between Two Important Stations:
Checking trains between two station is also easy and smooth with this website. You would have to enter 'From' and 'To' options in the form provided. After successful submission, you would get all the trains that run between those stations.
