About

PlayHQ Header Injector is an internal developer tool for PlayHQ engineers. It will not be public.

When enabled, it tags your requests to *.playhq.com with two identifiers on the standard tracestate header: phq-dev (your email, so you can find your own traffic)
and phq-reference (an optional reference such as a Jira ticket, to group a session or test run).

This makes it easy to filter the federated-gateway logs in Grafana down to just the requests you made; the popup includes a one-click link to the matching Grafana query.

The extension only runs on *.playhq.com and only adds headers to *.playhq.com requests. Your email and reference are stored locally in the browser (chrome.storage) and are never sent anywhere other than as the tracestate header on PlayHQ requests. Injection stays off until you switch it on.
