About
Stop Me Scrolling helps you stay focused by putting your distracting websites on a timer. You choose the sites, set how long you're allowed to scroll, and set how long the break lasts. The extension tracks your active time across all of them. When you've used up your allowed time, every tracked site gets blocked and stays blocked until the break period ends. Then the cycle resets and starts over. The cycle: Scroll (e.g. 30 min) → Break (e.g. 2 hours) → Scroll → Break → ... The timer only runs when you're actively engaging with a tracked site in the foreground. Background tabs, idle time, and other websites don't count. If you naturally stay away from tracked sites for longer than the break period, the cycle resets on its own — no block needed. Hit "Block now" to skip straight to the break when you catch yourself drifting. - One time budget across all tracked sites - Automatic blocking when time runs out - Cycle resets after every break - Only counts active, foreground usage - Daily stats, per-site breakdown, 14-day history - No account, no servers, all data stays on your device
