Ciao is your AI companion for the Ciao app-building platform. Open the side panel on any tab and the AI can see what you see, whether that's your deployed app, a competitor site, a spec in your docs, or a customer feedback sheet. It turns what's on screen into actionable work in your Ciao projects.

What it can do:

Investigate what you see. Point at a button that's broken, ask "why doesn't this work on mobile?", and the AI inspects the DOM, console, and network, then queues a fix prompt in the matching Ciao project.

Drive your tab. Ask the AI to walk a flow, fill a form with test data, or reproduce a bug. Chrome's "Ciao started debugging this tab" banner stays visible the entire time; one click detaches.

Inspect anything. Click any element on any page to pull its DOM, styles, and ancestors into the conversation. No more screenshots and arrows.

Channel research. Walk competitor pages, customer feedback spreadsheets, or analytics dashboards and turn what you see into prompts that land in the right project, on the right branch.

Run playbooks. Save reusable recipes like "smoke-test the signup flow" or "audit accessibility on the dashboard" and launch them with one click from any tab.

Privacy in plain language:

The extension only captures tab content when you invoke an action. There is no background monitoring of your browsing. Captured data goes only to your authenticated Ciao backend. We do not sell it, use it for ads, or train AI models on it. Full details: https://ciao.dev/extension-privacy-policy
