How it works:
1. Click the extension icon in your toolbar
2. Hit the GO button
3. Watch live results as the test runs through four phases: Ping & Jitter, Download Speed, Upload Speed, and Packet Loss
4. Get a complete picture of your connection quality with a detailed results card
Each metric explained:
- Download Speed: How fast data travels to your device. Critical for streaming, browsing, and file downloads.
- Upload Speed: How fast you send data out. Matters for video calls, cloud backups, and live streaming.
- Ping (Latency): The round-trip time for a packet. Lower is better for gaming and real-time apps.
- Jitter: How consistent your ping is over time. High jitter causes lag spikes and robotic audio.
