AI-Job-Application is designed to help job seekers prepare applications more efficiently while keeping the user in control.

Users can save their profile information locally, upload a PDF resume to extract structured resume details, analyze job postings for role fit, generate tailored cover letter drafts, and create autofill suggestions for application forms. The extension is intended to reduce repetitive manual work during job applications and help users review whether a role matches their background.

The extension does not submit job applications automatically. Autofill suggestions and generated content are presented for user review, and the user decides whether to use or edit them.

Profile data is stored in Chrome local storage. AI-powered features require the user to configure their own API provider and API key. Resume text, job posting content, and profile details are sent to the selected AI provider only when the user explicitly triggers an AI feature.
