Guardrail is a safety net for Salesforce admins, developers, and consultants who work across multiple orgs. It complements tools like Salesforce Inspector: instead of just coloring your production tab, it actually intercepts risky actions and asks you to confirm.

WHAT IT DOES • Confirm-before-action guardrails — in production, clicking a risky action (Delete, Deactivate, Delete Field, Mass Delete, Delete All) pops a confirmation so you never fire it by mistake. Sandboxes are left alone. • Environment banner — a clear Production / Sandbox indicator at the top of every org, so you always know where you are. • Setup command palette — press Ctrl/Cmd+K to fuzzy-jump to any Setup page instantly. No more digging through the Setup tree. • Configurable rules — choose exactly which button labels are guarded in production. • Smart org detection — works by hostname out of the box (no extra permissions); turn on optional high-accuracy mode to confirm sandbox vs production exactly.

FREE vs PRO The Setup command palette and the environment banner are free. The behavioral guardrails, configurable rules, and high-accuracy detection are Pro. Upgrade in the popup; billing is handled securely by Stripe.

PRIVACY Guardrail stores your settings locally and uses a random device identifier to validate your licence. It does not collect browsing history or personal data.
