DictFloat – Floating Dictionary

Look up typed or selected terms in a compact floating dictionary with local glossaries, MDX/MDD access, and online fallback.

DictFloat is a compact floating dictionary for quick lookups while you read, write, study, or work.

LOOK UP WITHOUT LEAVING THE PAGE
• Click the DictFloat toolbar icon to open a small movable dictionary window.
• Select a word or phrase on a webpage, then use the lookup marker or the right-click menu.
• Type a term directly and keep your reading flow intact.

USE THE SOURCES YOU PREFER
• Search editable local glossaries, including the built-in PCIe starter glossary.
• Import your own JSON or CSV glossary files.
• Connect locally stored MDX/MDD dictionary folders for text-first lookup.
• Optionally import a local Wudao-style offline data pack.
• Set the source order and collapse individual dictionary results.

LOCAL-FIRST BY DESIGN
• Your settings, history, glossaries, source order, and local dictionary configuration stay in Chrome local storage on your device.
• DictFloat does not bundle or redistribute third-party dictionary files.
• Import or connect only dictionary files you are authorized to use.

OPTIONAL ONLINE LOOKUP
• When Online lookup is enabled, DictFloat sends only the term you actively query to online dictionary and translation providers.
• You can turn Online lookup off in Settings at any time.

PERSONALIZE THE WINDOW
• Light, dark, or follow-Chrome theme.
• Green, blue, or rose accent color.
• Adjustable font size and panel width.
• Safe backup and recovery tools for editable data.

DictFloat has one purpose: make dictionary lookup fast and unobtrusive in the page you are already using.

DictFloat – 悬浮查词词典

在当前网页中查询输入或划选的词语：支持本地词库、MDX/MDD、本地离线包和可关闭的在线兜底查询。

DictFloat 是一个轻量、可拖动的悬浮查词工具。阅读、写作、学习或工作时，无需离开当前网页即可查询词语。

不离开网页，随手查词
• 点击浏览器工具栏中的 DictFloat 图标，打开小型可拖动词典窗口。
• 在网页中选中一个单词或短语，使用查词标记或右键菜单查询。
• 也可以直接输入术语，保持阅读和工作节奏。

使用你自己的词典来源
• 查询可编辑的本地词库，内置 PCIe 入门词库。
• 导入 JSON / CSV 个人术语库。
• 连接本机保存的 MDX / MDD 词典目录，进行以文字为主的查询。
• 可选导入本地 Wudao 风格离线数据包。
• 可调整词典显示顺序，并独立折叠各个词典结果。

本地优先
• 设置、历史记录、个人词库、词典顺序和本地词典连接配置都保存在设备上的 Chrome 本地存储中。
• DictFloat 不内置、不分发第三方词典文件。
• 请只导入或连接你有权使用的词典文件。

可关闭的在线查询
• 开启 Online lookup 后，只有你主动输入、主动划选并查询的词语才会发送给在线词典和翻译服务。
• 你可以随时在 Settings 中关闭 Online lookup。

按你的习惯调整
• 浅色、深色或跟随 Chrome。
• 绿色、蓝色、粉色 Accent。
• 可调整字体大小和面板宽度。
• 可编辑词条，并提供备份、恢复与安全确认。

DictFloat 只有一个目标：在你正在使用的网页中，快速、克制、不打扰地完成查词。
