2. Cloak swaps every sensitive detail for a clean placeholder — "Sarah Chen" becomes [Person_A], "Meridian Capital" becomes [Company_1] — consistently, everywhere it appears.
3. Copy the safe version into ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or any AI tool.
4. Paste the AI's answer back into Cloak's Reveal tab, and your real values are restored in one click.

Because the same name always maps to the same placeholder, the AI still understands who's who and gives you a coherent, useful answer. This is the difference between Cloak and basic redaction tools that just black everything out and leave the AI confused.
