PRIVACY (PLAIN ENGLISH)
The free core works fully offline. Your invoice content is stored only in your browser's local storage on your device. There is no analytics, no advertising and no third-party tracking. Only two optional features ever use the network:
1) Subscription/licence checks go to ExtensionPay/Stripe (Pro only). The ExtensionPay library stores a small licence/installation token in your browser's synced storage so your Pro status follows your Chrome profile; your invoice content is never synced or transmitted.
2) The optional VAT-number lookup: when you press the lookup button, the VAT number you typed is sent to the European Commission VIES service (ec.europa.eu) over the internet so it can be checked. It is best-effort, may be unavailable, and never blocks creating an invoice. Don't use it for numbers you aren't entitled to check.
