Report Buddy helps ServiceTitan users find the right report without memorizing template names or digging through menus. Just describe what you need in plain English and Report Buddy will tell you which template to use, which columns to add, and how to set it up.
Here's what it does:
FIND REPORTS
Type something like "job profitability by customer" or "which techs are causing the most recalls" and Report Buddy will recommend the right template, suggest specific columns, surface relevant pre-built reports, and walk you through the setup step by step. It knows all 56 report templates, 100+ legacy reports, and thousands of KPIs across ServiceTitan's reporting system.
If the keyword engine isn't confident in its answer, it automatically defers to AI for a second opinion. You can also ask for an AI recommendation manually on any result.
FAQ-POWERED TIPS
Report Buddy includes a curated FAQ built from real questions asked by ServiceTitan users. When your query matches a known question, you get a domain-expert answer with specific column names, filter recommendations, and tips about common gotchas (like the difference between "Labor" and "Labor Pay" in job costing, or why your revenue numbers might not match your estimates).
ANALYZE EXPORTED REPORTS
Export any supported report from ServiceTitan as a CSV or Excel file, upload it to Report Buddy, and get it scored against industry benchmarks. Report Buddy color-codes your KPIs (green for meeting benchmarks, red for needs attention) and generates cross-KPI insights. All processing happens locally in your browser. Your data never leaves your computer.
LIVE KPI HIGHLIGHTING
Report Buddy can highlight KPI cells directly inside ServiceTitan reports as you view them. Pick your trade (HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, etc.) and Report Buddy applies color-coded benchmarks in real time. You can customize thresholds or add your own KPIs through the Settings panel.
WORKS AS A SIDE PANEL
Report Buddy runs as a Chrome side panel, so you can keep it open while you work in ServiceTitan. Click the Report Buddy icon in your toolbar or use the "Report Buddy" button that appears on the ServiceTitan reporting page.
