About
Bug Tracer helps teams capture reproducible bug reports directly from the browser. Instead of sending screenshots, browser details, page URLs, and reproduction notes manually, users can open Bug Tracer, capture the current page, add issue details, and submit a structured report to their Bug Tracer workspace. Bug Tracer is designed for SaaS teams, QA testers, implementation teams, internal IT teams, and developers who need clearer issue reports with enough context to reproduce and triage problems faster. Key features: • Capture browser screenshots for bug evidence • Add issue details such as title, description, severity, expected result, and actual result • Capture useful page context such as page URL, browser, operating system, viewport size, and timestamp • Submit reports to a tenant/project workspace in Bug Tracer • Help developers receive structured reports instead of incomplete screenshots or chat messages • Support safer diagnostic capture with tenant/project configuration • Designed for integration workflows such as Jira tickets, Microsoft Teams notifications, webhooks, and developer APIs where enabled by the workspace administrator Bug Tracer is intended for authorised use within configured teams and projects. Users should only submit reports for applications and workspaces they are permitted to access. Privacy and data handling: Bug Tracer may capture screenshots and page diagnostic context when a user intentionally submits a report. Screenshots and bug descriptions may contain information visible on the page at the time of capture. The extension is designed to collect diagnostic information for bug reproduction and triage, not for advertising or unrelated tracking. Bug Tracer does not collect browsing activity for advertising purposes, does not sell user data, and does not intentionally collect passwords, authentication tokens, cookies, or payment details. Workspace administrators should configure capture settings and masking rules according to their organisation’s data handling requirements. Best suited for: • Product teams • QA teams • SaaS implementation teams • Internal business systems teams • Customer success and support teams • Developers managing web application defects Bug Tracer turns unclear issue reports into structured, developer-ready bug reports.
