About

LoudTab gives you quick control over the audio playing in your current browser tab. Use it when a video is too quiet, voices are hard to hear, music needs more punch, or one tab needs a different volume than the rest of your computer.

Key features:
• Boost the current tab volume up to 600%.
• Use quick presets: Default, Voice Boost, and Bass Boost.
• Reset volume back to normal when you are finished.
• Restore a saved volume for a tab/domain.
• Find and switch between audible tabs from the popup.
• Adjust preferences such as dark mode and scroll direction.

How it works:
Open a tab that is playing audio, click the LoudTab extension icon, then move the volume slider or choose a preset. LoudTab applies audio processing to the selected tab, not to your whole computer.

Privacy-friendly note:
LoudTab does not include analytics scripts, ad network scripts, remote JavaScript loading, account login, payment code, or external API calls. Settings are stored locally with Chrome storage.

Limitations:
LoudTab works on browser tab audio. It does not control system-wide device volume.
