About

Spiderette Solitaire is a single deck version of the game Spider Solitaire. It's typically played by anyone with a deck of cards that doesn't want to hassle with shuffling 2 decks, or anyone who wants a faster game of Spider Solitaire. Traditionally it is played with all four suits, but the movements of the cards is done so without paying any attention to them. We've included a traditional version in this set of 4 card games for anyone who prefers to play this way, but by default, we have a single suit version for anyone who is used to playing the windows version of the game.

If you're not familiar with Spiderette Solitaire or Spider Solitaire, the goal of both games is to remove all the cards. Cards are removed when you create a column of cards that is built down from King to Ace. You can either move the top card in a column, or move a fully packed series of cards. I have the cards you can not move dimmed to make it more clear which cards can be moved.

I've also included Spider Solitaire if you would prefer to play with two decks, and a version of Scorpion Solitaire, which is a similar column based solitaire card game, but unlike in Spiderette, the player can move a column of cards grabbing it by any face up card in the column. The player does have to place it on a column of the same suit. Unlike in Spider and Spiderette, the cards are not removed from play when they are built down from King to Ace.
