    Summary (Short Description)
Control your self-hosted Lyrion Media Server (LMS) directly from your Chrome toolbar. Play, pause, browse, and manage your queue.

      Detailed Description
LMS Controller is a lightweight, fast, and open-source Chrome extension designed to interface seamlessly with your self-hosted Lyrion Media Server (formerly Logitech Media Server). It
provides quick access to media controls, player selection, and basic library navigation directly from your browser toolbar, eliminating the need to keep a full web UI tab open.

Whether you are working, browsing, or just relaxing, LMS Controller puts your music right at your fingertips.

      🌟 CORE FEATURES 🌟

      🎵 Player Management
Instantly view all connected players on your network and seamlessly switch the active playback device without interrupting your workflow.

      ⏯️ Transport Controls
Full control over your music: Play, pause, skip forward, skip backward, and view the currently playing track. The extension also beautifully displays the album art of the current track
      right in the popup.

      📂 Queue & Library Management
Easily browse your current queue, explore your local library, and access your favorites. You can add new items to the end of your queue or play them immediately with a single click.

🔌 Custom App Tab (Spotty Integration)
Configure a custom tab for lightning-fast access to a specific LMS app. This feature is specifically designed and optimized for the Spotty (Spotify) plugin, allowing you to browse your
Spotify playlists and albums directly from the extension.

      🛠️ GETTING STARTED 🛠️

       1. Install the extension and pin it to your Chrome toolbar.
       2. Click the extension icon. You will be prompted to configure your server.
       3. Click "Configure LMS Server" to open the Options page.
       4. Enter the full URL to your LMS instance (e.g., http://192.168.1.100:9000/ or http://lms.local/).
       5. (Optional) Select a Custom App to display as a tab.
       6. Click "Save & Test Connection". The extension will verify the connection and securely request permission to communicate with your specific server URL.

      🔒 PRIVACY & SECURITY 🔒

LMS Controller is built with strict privacy in mind.
       - It communicates exclusively with the exact server URL you configure.
       - It does NOT track your browsing history.
       - It does NOT inject scripts into web pages.
       - It does NOT collect, store, or send any personal data or analytics to third parties.

Because Lyrion Media Server is self-hosted and can run on any local IP address or custom domain, the extension requires optional host permissions. However, it dynamically requests
access only to the specific URL you provide during setup, ensuring minimal and secure access.

      💻 OPEN SOURCE 💻

This extension is completely free and open-source. It was designed primarily for personal use (and completely vibe-coded with Gemini ✨), but it is shared with the community in the
hopes that it will be useful to other LMS enthusiasts.
