RankShield Browser Guardian is a privacy-first security extension that watches your back as you browse — and warns you the moment something looks wrong.

WHAT IT DOES
• Risky-extension audit — continuously checks every extension you have installed and flags the dangerous ones: over-permissioned, able to read & change data on all sites, sideloaded/unreviewed, or reported by the RankShield threat network. (Recent supply-chain attacks hijacked trusted extensions — this is your early warning.)
• OAuth consent guard — when a site asks for high-risk access to your Google account (Gmail, Drive, long-lived "offline" tokens), Guardian warns you before you click Allow. These consent traps can bypass passwords and even MFA.
• ClickFix / paste-hijack alert — flags the "copy this and paste it" trick used to take over accounts during sign-in.
• Known-bad site blocking — blocks navigation to phishing and malware hosts from a live, federated threat feed.
• Profile-compromise signals — watches for in-browser signs that your profile may be at risk (a changed signed-in account, a newly installed or sideloaded extension) and tells you what to do next.
• Federated protection — one user's detection helps protect everyone, while only de-identified threat signals are ever shared.

PRIVACY FIRST
We never read or transmit your passwords, cookies, page content, or browsing history. The only thing that leaves your browser is a one-way fingerprint of a threat indicator — never anything that identifies you, the site, or your account. No ads. No selling data. No tracking.

HONEST BY DESIGN
Some attacks happen outside the browser (such as operating-system-level cookie theft), and no extension can stop those — so we don't pretend to. Guardian tells you exactly what it can detect, warn on, and block, and points you to the right next step (like turning on passkeys) for everything else.
