Upload Rescue helps you manually reduce and convert image files directly in Chrome.

Choose a local JPG, PNG, or WebP image, adjust compression, resize dimensions, select an output format, optionally target an approximate file size, and download the processed image.

Core features:
- Compress JPG, PNG, and WebP images
- Convert between JPG, PNG, and WebP
- Resize images by width and height
- Try to reach an approximate target file size
- Download processed images manually
- Local-first processing: selected images are not uploaded to a server

MVP limits:
- Image files only: JPG, PNG, WebP
- No PDF or HEIC support
- No automatic upload replacement or website form filling
- No access to browsing history or website content
- No host permissions, <all_urls>, activeTab, or scripting

The Chrome Web Store extension is free to install. Optional Pro licenses, if offered, are handled on the official Upload Rescue website through Polar. The submitted MVP image tools do not require a Chrome Web Store payment, account, or Pro license to test.
