Click the toolbar icon and the page becomes editable — a small floating toolbar appears with the essentials: bold, italic, underline, headings, lists, links, and undo/redo. Fix a typo, rewrite a paragraph, restyle a heading, then download it as a clean .html file (your doctype and styling are preserved). Perfect for tidying up AI-generated HTML docs, grabbing a clean copy of a page with your edits, or quickly mocking up wording changes. Private by design: htmlEdit does nothing until you click it, runs only on the tab you're on, and never sends your data anywhere. Edits stay in your browser.
